SUPER SHOWDOWN: Iona Prep vs. Stepinac

Iona Preparatory’s Varsity Basketball team will rematch rival Archbishop Stepinac at the Hynes Athletics Center of Iona University in New Rochelle on Friday, February 6 with a 7 p.m. tipoff. Featuring contests and giveaways, prizes and prominence in the CHSAA standings, Iona Prep's annual Super Showdown is an event like no other. Held at the school's ancestral home of Iona University, the Showdown features all the pomp and circumstance befitting one of the area’s premier programs and academic institutions, with a halftime ceremony to the highlight above-average collegiate commitments and well-above average GPAs of Iona Prep's "scholar-athletes,” plus a special appearance by the Iona Prep Rock Ensemble!

Tickets start at $10 for general admission, or $25 for the comfort upgrade of a limited supply of chairback seats. A reimagined pregame reception with food and a cash bar will be available in the glass-encased LaPenta School of Business Atrium for an additional $25 from 5:30 p.m. until the 7 p.m. tip.
