Plains, Trains and Streetcars: Tampa Bay Before the Automobile

Join local historian and WPHS board member Tomás Monzón as he explores the history of how people got around New Port Richey and Tampa Bay before the advent of automobiles and paved highways.

From horseback riding to cross-county train rides, learn about how people conquered long distances in our ever growing multi-county area throughout the 20th century!

This will be an interactive session where you'll get to show off your historical knowledge skills, so make sure to bring your thinking cap!
