Most of us have experienced the uncomfortable feeling of being asked to speak in public – for work presentations, event speeches and many other situations. A Speechcraft course will help you learn techniques and build confidence so that you can make the most of these opportunities.
Nga Manu Reo Toastmasters Club is delivering a Speechcraft course over a six week period to enhance your ability to prepare, deliver and evaluate speeches and also practice the art of impromptu speaking.
The course is perfect as a personal development opportunity for employees or for those looking to build their confidence. It's also especially helpful for those whom English is not their first language, as a regular place to practice and grow vocabulary.
Details of the course as follows:
Course Dates - Run over 6 weeks - From 5 August to 9 September 2025
Days - Tuesday evenings - 5, 12, 19, 26 August and 2, 9 September
Time - 5.30pm to 7.30pm
Location - Brian Bellringer Pavilion, Pukekura Park, New Plymouth
Number of registrations we are taking - up to 10 (so get in quick)
Cost: $120 one off payment per person.
