Stephanie is finally making it to 40!!!

The birthday we've all been waiting for... my 40th!!! Officially becoming an adult!!

Yes, I know it is 6 months away but I wanted to give all of my out of town family and friends plenty of time to make travel arrangements since it falls on a weekend. Hotels and airfare should be affordable as it is considered the end of our "off season" in NOLA and right before the holiday prices will spike. There are also some big name hotels out in Chalmette where I live which may be even cheaper than downtown hotels (Chalmette is 15 minutes from the French Quarter).

MRB is an amazing local bar in the French Quarter owned by my friends with 2 courtyards, indoor seating, a pool table, plenty of games, college football, amazing drinks, over 100 beers, and quite possibly there will be a band! There is a strong possibility the Saints will be playing in NOLA on Sunday against The Jets, Giants, Patriots, or Panthers so I'll definitely be going to the home game (too soon for the schedule as of now) so the options to experience NFL in the Superdome is there too.

MRB has THE BEST oysters in the quarter (they've won awards) and their kitchen is also amazing. Likely there will be potluck food as well.
