About the event

Phil Sandusky-Painting Katrina-Artist Talk

LeMieux Galleries is excited to host artist Phil Sandusky for an artist talk about his work after Hurricane Katrina. The talk starts at 2PM on Saturday, August 9th.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, Phil Sandusky will show images of the work he did and recount his adventures making plein air paintings of New Orleans in the aftermath of the storm.

In conjunction with the artist talk some of his hurricane paintings will be on display in center gallery for the month of August.
