About the event

Annual Membership Meeting / Louisiana Queer Arts Launch
Join us for our annual Membership Meeting, which will serve as the launch of our 2025 programming focus--Louisiana Queer Arts. After a brief business meeting, we will present the Stewart Butler / Alfred Doolittle Award for Contributions to Queer History. This year's recipient is pioneering lesbian Barbara Scott. We will then have a panel discussion to discuss the legacy of J.B. Harter's art. The meeting will be accompanied by exhibits of Harter and Scott's artwork. Light refreshments will be provided.
