Lids for Kids: Bike Helmet Giveaway and Safety Event

Get ready for our annual youth bicycle safety event, in collaboration with Bike New London and Safe Kids CT - Lids for Kids! The New London Elks is hosting a bike helmet giveaway and safety event, and giving away free bikes! Youth of all ages are welcome to attend and will be fitted for a FREE bike helmet. Plus, we're providing smoke detectors and hosting a bike rodeo where kids can practice safe riding.

All children in attendance will be given free entry into a raffle to win bicycles purchased through donations from our sponsors.

Then, attend the event with your child on May 17th.

The event will also feature the New London Police Department, Officer Nocito and K9 companion Traveler, the New London Fire Department with an up-close look at a fire truck, Norwich Bully Busters with fun games for the kids, Bike New London volunteers helping with the rodeo, and more!
