The 2025 Rock Lottery Drawing

A reminder for everyone who has already signed up, and a nudge for those of you who haven't signed up yet... the drawing is coming up soon!

Drawn by lot, chosen at random, a few dozen fearless musicians get together for an unforgettable one-off gig. Brand new local Super Groups will be created on the spot from a pool of musicians who have never played together before.

Names will be randomly drawn and the new groups will be given a set of challenging musical tasks to master with only three weeks to practice. The bands will then return to Café Nine on October 3rd and October 4th to face off for the first round of Rock Lottery challenges.

Note: The Rock Lottery "competition" is open to all musicians, regardless of preferred genre, instrument or skill level. You do not have to be present at the drawing to participate. For more information, or to sign up, email ideatvillage @ snet.net by September 10th.
