1st Annual Justin Mello Memorial Ride

In October of 2000 my brother was killed in a senseless act of violence. At the age of 16 he was murdered while working at a local pizza shop. The whole community rallied around my family during this time. From a shoulder to cry on to hugs from strangers we felt the support of the community. In the following months there was money donated to our family from all kind of people. My dad wanted to give it back in some way, shape or form.
We began working with the Anchor Bay Comminity Foundation to find a way to give it back. We came up with the Justin Mello Memorial Scholarship. It’s awarded every year to an officer or cadet in the New Baltimore or Chesterfield police department that is perusing a law enforcement degree. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Justin Mello Memorial Scholarship fund. My end goal is to make this an annual run with something to do for everyone in the community. I look forward to seeing what we can turn this into with the help of a ton of close friends and family as well as the community.

This will be a poker run style ride through new Baltimore/chesterfield.
