Please join us in sharing the love and grace God has bestowed upon Immanuel Lutheran Church, New Douglas, IL. We will be honoring our church's 150th Anniversary.
We will celebrate this event beginning on August 3, 2025 with a 10:00 AM worship service that will feature one of our former ministers, Rev. Mark Sidney. Following the Service, the church will have our Annual Sunday School picnic with food, games, a bounce house and fun for all. The meal will be our favorite picnic foods- hamburgers, hot dogs, ice cream and more.
We will conclude the celebration on August 10, 2025, with Bishop Rev Dr. Greg Busboom conducting our church service. Following the service, we will have a catered meal served at the Community Center on Main Street at 12:00 PM. Reservations for the meal must be received and paid for by July 15, 2025. The cost is $18.00 per person, children 12 and under are free.
We will have a souvenir Christmas ornament featuring our stained glass window available for this momentous occasion. We will also have drinking glasses, t-shirts, calendars and coloring books that will be available for purchase at the celebration. Souvenirs can be ordered in advance or purchased at the anniversary parties as well.
