The New Castle Prism Initiative is creating another safe, affirming space for our community a free monthly Transgender Support Group, led by a licensed therapist. 🏳️⚧️💬

🤝 In partnership with Rae’s Safe Haven providing the compassionate therapeutic touch that makes these groups possible.
This group is designed to be a judgment free, inclusive environment for transgender and gender-expansive individuals to come together, share experiences, process feelings, and connect with others who truly understand. 💖
💡 Why this matters:
Research shows that transgender people who have access to affirming spaces and peer support experience lower rates of depression, isolation, and anxiety and stronger feelings of community belonging. Safe spaces like these can be life-changing, offering empathy, empowerment, and understanding. 🌈
At Prism, we believe that no one should walk their journey alone. This support group is a place to be seen, heard, and celebrated for who you are.
