Movies @ Old Town Hall: Cléo from 5 to 7 (1962)

Join us for a screening of a different movie every Wednesday night at 6:30pm at Old Town Hall, located down the street at 201 Delaware St. Admission is a sliding scale of $5-10, though no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

On Wednesday, September 10, Movies @ Old Town Hall is proud to screen Cléo from 5 to 7, directed by Agnès Varda, 1962.

Agnès Varda eloquently captures Paris in the sixties with this real-time portrait of a singer (Corinne Marchand) set adrift in the city as she awaits test results of a biopsy. A chronicle of the minutes of one woman's life, Cléo from 5 to 7 is a spirited mix of vivid vérité and melodrama, featuring a score by Michel Legrand (The Umbrellas of Cherbourg) and cameos by Jean-Luc Godard and Anna Karina.

Cléo from 5 to 7 is 90 minutes long and unrated. In French with English subtitles.
