🎨 Clay Gnome and Mushroom Making Workshop 🍄
Create, Sculpt, and Glaze Your Own Magical Gnome and Mushroom on July 19th, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Join us for a hands-on, two-part clay workshop where you'll sculpt and design your very own whimsical gnome and mushroom out of clay! Whether you're a beginner or seasoned crafter, this workshop is the perfect chance to get creative, unwind, and make something truly unique.
Workshop Details:
🗓 Part 1: Sculpt & Shape
In the first session, you'll be guided step-by-step in hand-building a unique clay gnome and mushroom using pinch, coil, and slab techniques. Learn how to form expressive caps, textured stems, and add fun details like gills, dots, or even fairy doors! We'll use high-quality clay to bring your fungi creations and gnome creations to life.
🗓 Part 2: Glaze & Paint (Return Visit)
After your pieces have dried and been bisque-fired (can take up to 2 weeks), we will contact you and you'll come back to glaze and paint your gnome and mushroom with beautiful ceramic glazes. Choose from a wide range of colors and finishes—glossy, matte, earthy, or vibrant—and learn how to apply them for a professional look. Your glazed mushrooms will then be fired in the kiln for their final transformation! Part 2 can be done during our walk-in pottery hours.

📅 Duration: Each session lasts approx. 1.5 to 2 hours
