4th Friday Art on the Town - Featuring Jill Althouse-Wood Part 2

Hi everyone! Summer is still plugging along with Jill Althouse-Wood, our featured artist this of 4th Friday's.
Jill is a painter and writer based in the artist colony in Arden Delaware. She has a BFA in Fine Arts from the University of Delaware and a career in textile design, which brings a deep understanding of color, pattern and texture to her visual work. Jill’s work reflects the forested environment of her Sherwood Forest home and the rhythms of village life.
“While the act of painting is my way of processing the world, my hope is that the work becomes a shared space for reflection and conversation. I believe in art’s capacity to hold all the feels-ours, yours and those still emerging.”
