1000 Pound Club
Test your maxes, push your limits, achieve your goals in the 1000 Pound Club!
The 1000 Pound Club is a weightlifting competition that will be held at the Henry County YMCA on Friday, July 25, 2025. The competition will begin at 6 pm.
EVENT DESCRIPTION:
-The 1000 Pound Club Competition will consist of three power lifts. (Bench press, Squat, and Deadlift)
-There will be three attempts at each lift.
-If a weight is not completed or the official does not count it, a scratch will be given for the weight.
-Following a scratch, no adjustments to weight may be made.
-The highest amount of weight completed out of three attempts will be the weight counted towards the total.
-The head official must be present for the lift. The recorder must have the attempted weight recorded prior to an attempt.
COST:
-Members: $25
-Program Participants: $30
-T-shirts will be given to men who complete 1000 pounds and women who complete 500 pounds. The overall winners will receive a special shirt reflecting that achievement.
