7th Multicultural Folk Dance Gathering.
Dances from different ethnic groups will be presented by local (NJ) folk dance performing groups in traditional costumes. Chinese, West African, Aztec, Middle Eastern, Bulgarian and Hungarian dances will be presented. After the performances these dances will be taught to the participants by the leaders of each performing group. No prior dance knowledge necessary. This will be a fast paced, interactive event with ongoing performances and dance workshops.
Hungarian folk dance teaching circles led by advanced dancers and after the performances. TÁNCHÁZ!

6:00-6:20 PM - Hungarian dance teaching and games for children
6:20-6:45 PM - Middle Eastern Dances by Liz Leyla
6:45-7:05 PM – Aztec Dances by Ruben Chico and drummers
7:05-7:30 PM - Chinese Dances by Qing Yang & QIDS group
7:30-8:00 - West African Dances by Audrey Davis Dunning & drummers
8:00-8:30 PM - Bulgarian Dances by Bosilek Dance Ensemble
8:30 PM-12 AM - DANCE HOUSE: Hungarian free dances and teaching circles. Live music by Fészer band and friends.
