We're really looking forward to our next breakfast gathering because we have a truly inspiring story to share. Art, in its many forms, can be such a powerful way to work through stress and tough times, and our guest speaker, Mario Lopez, knows this firsthand.
Mario's journey is incredible. He went from fighting for his life after a traumatic injury during deployment to not just surviving, but thriving. And now, he's the South Regional Art Director for New Century Art Guild! He'll be joining us to share his personal experience of how art became his creative outlet and a real source of healing.
Come on out, grab a warm breakfast with us, connect with fellow Veterans and First Responders, and hear Mario's inspiring story, and learn about upcoming art events. Here are a few reminders:
1. There is no charge to attend, just pay your breakfast. However, there will be a certain number of breakfasts covered. If we have a Community Partner, we'll be drawing tickets at the beginning of the event for free breakfast.
2 RSVP is not required, but highly encouraged. It just helps give us an idea for planning. You can do it here or through the website rebel-llc.com/veteran-breakfast.
3. We are partnered with a Veteran focused non-profit. Comal County Veterans is our partnered non-profit for the Schertz/Cibolo breakfast. A portion of our community [partnership goes directly to them to help them with their mission.
