Incubator Coach/Mentor Training

Get ready to make a lasting impact! This 2-hour training session is designed for current and prospective coaches and mentors participating in the Comal ISD Incubator Program—a dynamic, real-world entrepreneurship experience offered to high school students across the district.

During this session, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of your role in guiding and supporting student teams as they develop, refine, and pitch their business ideas throughout the school year.

What the Training Will Include:

• Overview of the Incubator Program structure, timeline, and expectations
• Clarification of the roles of coaches and mentors—and how they differ
• Strategies to foster student collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking
• Tools and techniques to support students through ideation, product development, and presentation phases
• Guidance on how to provide constructive feedback and model entrepreneurial mindsets.
• Opportunities to connect with fellow coaches and mentors and build a strong support network.
