Art in the Garden

9:00–10:00 AM — Creative drawing exercises and games to tune in, slow down, and see the world like an artist. We’ll practice observational drawing, shadow tracing, and botanical sketching — imagining ourselves as tiny bugs walking deeper into a flower, noticing every texture, curve, and scent.

10:00–11:00 AM — Hands-on in the soil. We’ll plant, tend, and help grow something beautiful and nourishing for our neighbors.

How do you create the taste of a berry with a line? The smell of soil with a curve? The rough texture of a leaf with a single point?

This special garden lives in the heart of New Braunfels, serving as an outreach program providing fresh, accessible food for foster care families and members of our community.

All ages welcome. No experience needed. Just bring your curiosity and an open heart.
