18th Century Apothecary Workshop

What would you do if you were ill or injured in the 18th century? Join Charles Brett, Apothecary-Surgeon, to explore period medical treatments and the role of medical practitioners in colonial North Carolina!

What You’ll Learn:
As an apothecary’s apprentice, you’ll review surgical and bandaging principles to treat injuries and explore the healing properties of medicinal plants. As part of this workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to compound a medicinal recipe for treating ailments using period tools and techniques.

Ticketing Information:
Tickets are $35 (plus tax) and include materials. Seating is limited.
Tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets are non-refundable.
