Arts Illuminated live showcase: "The Macabre"

� The New Bedford Light is beckoning art enthusiasts, artists and potential art buyers to attend our next Arts Illuminated showcase, as we explore “The Macabre” on Thursday, Oct. 23, at 6:30 p.m. at the Steeple Playhouse in New Bedford.

� With Halloween hovering, it’s time to venture into the dark side of art �. Join us as we interview selected artists about their work, in mediums ranging from traditional to the digital, from painting to pottery, from the serious to the comic.

� You’ll have the chance to browse their offerings up close, mingle with the artists and Light staff, and buy during our signature “Afterglow” reception. Refreshments served!

� Get in the spirit! We invite everyone to dress for this spooky occasion. Whether you lean toward Wednesday Addams, the Dark Knight or “he who must not be named,” we hope to see you there. �
