Davis Center Tours

Be among the first to experience the latest addition to Central Park's north end—the Davis Center! Designed by Susan T. Rodriguez Architecture + Design in collaboration with Mitchell Giurgola and Central Park Conservancy, this newly-opened recreation center is a bold reconnection of the beauty of the Harlem Meer to the urban wonders of the North Woods. The project included a landscape restoration of the original watercourse that travels through the ravine and construction of a new boardwalk alongside it, to improve the ecology of the Meer and expand public access. On this tour with Central Park Conservancy, guests will learn more about the state-of-the-art pool and ice rink, green roof, and community-driven programming while experiencing the facility's new design.

This program is part of Water Works, a new yearlong series exploring the city’s water systems and our connections to water. The series is produced with lead agency partner NYC Department of Environmental Protection and with support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
