Big Reuse x Shorewalkers: Big Walk!

Shorewalkers and Big Reuse are teaming up for a walk through Brooklyn!

We will meet up at the sidewalk outside City Hall Park near the corner of Chambers Street & Centre Street and end the walk at Big Reuse.

The walk will start with crossing the iconic Brooklyn Bridge and take participants through Brooklyn Bridge Park, Downtown Brooklyn, Gowanus Waterfront Park, and to Big Reuse. The walk is 6 miles ranging from waterfront views to a wide array of residential buildings and interesting architecture.

We will be walking at a medium pace and make multiple bathroom stops. Make sure to dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes and bring water and snacks.

After the event we will head to Other Half Brewery right nearby for a celebratory drink!

Whether you are a Brooklyn resident or traveling from out of town, this walk will allow you to see the borough from a new perspective. This walk is a great opportunity to support Big Reuse and to join our Community.

Shorewalkers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, environmental organization launched in 1982 that is dedicated to promoting and preserving New York City’s waterfront, as well as raising awareness of its shorelines by leading invigorating hikes throughout the metropolitan area.
