A Gala At The Met You're Actually Invited To

Museum Hack’s Hacked Gala is a dress-to-the-nines, renegade, fundraising tour of The Met, packed with wildly entertaining stories of art, fashion, and change. 

In small VIP-style groups, you'll explore the museum, walking the same steps as celebrities do during the Met Gala, passing the Costume Institute’s exhibit Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. We’ll take you “beyond the runway” into the stories of those who challenged norms, defied expectations, and redefined self-expression—one outfit, sculpture, tradition, or law at a time.

In true fundraising Gala style, your ticket price to our Hacked Gala is also a donation supporting The Fashion and Race Database® (FRD) — a NYC-based organization focused on creating a dynamic, expert-led approach to understanding the history and impact of race in the fashion system and our everyday lives. FRD’s mission aligns with the 2025 Met Gala theme, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, celebrating fashion as power, protest, and identity.

• Four limited-offering tour dates in May 
• Dress code: Tailored to You. Dress as fancy as you like. Tailored suits, hats and gloves, thrift store treasures – are all welcome! 
• Fundraising goal: $5,000 benefiting The Fashion and Race Database®. All ticket proceeds, outside of museum admission, support FRD.

• Museum Admission ($25) 
• 2-hour guided museum tour led by expert storytellers
• VIP small group experience (max: 10 people)
• Professional photographer capturing moments during the tour (digital copies provided after the tour)
