INIAstress - RSA Satellite Meeting 2025

This event is open to all attendees of the 2025 RSA scientific meeting. RSVP is required.

The Integrative Neuroscience Initiative on Alcoholism (INIA) Consortia collectively studies animal models to understand brain mechanisms that underlie harmful alcohol intakes. INIAstress focuses on the etiology and consequences of the reciprocal relationship between stress and heavy drinking in rodent and primate models, with the ultimate goal to identify new strategies for the prevention and treatment of alcohol use disorder.

· Projects addressing neural circuity involved in alcohol-stress interactions

· Projects addressing excessive drinking exacerbated by stress

INIA late-breaking research findings (combined INIAstress and INIAneuroimmune presentation)

· Total of 10 Data blitz presentations from each INIA Project and Core on the most recent (unpublished) findings
