Dave Gates is a musician with a story as unique as his sound. It all started in 2018 when a mysterious homeless man gifted him a worn-out guitar with a promise: "Play it, and you might change your life." The man disappeared just as quickly as he appeared, leaving Dave with a rare, vintage 1965 Yamaha acoustic. Though the guitar was nearly unplayable, Dave honored his word. That moment sparked a journey that took him from struggling artist to one of the most sought-after acoustic performers in the area. Dave’s performances are not just concerts, they’re experiences, leaving audiences with memories that last long after the final note.
