New Canaan Dog Days 2025 Presented by Pet Pantry Warehouse

The annual New Canaan Dog Days hosted by Pet Pantry Warehouse at the New Canaan Nature Center is back on Sunday, June 1st. This "ultimate furry FUN-draising event" is a good time for the whole family and benefits the New Canaan Nature Center and Adopt-a-Dog.

This year's Dog Days Diamond sponsors include First Mate, Raised Right, and Open Farm. Gold sponsors include Earth Animal, K9 Natural, Primal, and Vital Essentials. Silver sponsors include Fromm and Rawz. Bronze sponsors include Blue Buffalo, Canidae/Natural, Balance (Ethos Pet), Champion, Honest Kitchen, Nulo, Stella & Chewys, Ziwipeak, Zignature/Fussie, Natures Variety, Saint Rocco's, Triumph/Evolve, and Farmina. Free samples from these brands will be available to attendees at each event.

The New Canaan Dog Days Scavenger Hunt will be specially curated and hosted by Rock Paper Scissors Custom Events, known for their creative and engaging community activations.

Ice cream isn't just for the kid in all of us. At New Canaan Dog Days it's gone to the dogs. The frozen yogurt treats are formulated specifically for dogs. With quality ingredients such as peanut butter, applewood smoked bacon, and bananas, all it takes is one lick for your pup to fall in love with the cool treats. For the cherry on top of the sundae, we have a toppings bar that includes crunchy liver chips.

Our Sniffari Tent is for the dog that loves to follow her nose and find treats. This year's Sniffari jungle will be guarded by two new characters - Simba the lion and Raja the tiger. Dog Lovers Lure Coursing

Dogs love to lure course. Once they catch onto the game, they fly around the course. The lure coursing staff are dedicated to safety first and fun. As an added bonus, they offer expert photography to create that lifetime photo of your dog having a great time.

About Pet Pantry Warehouse

Pet Pantry Warehouse, is a community-based, family-owned, and operated pet supplies retailer. Products are carefully sourced to ensure quality and value. The history of the Pet Pantry began in 1945 with World War II Army Air Forces servicemen, Mort Davis, and Jac Cohen. The pair formed their alliance over a British puppy adopted by Davis while stationed in wartime England. After accomplishing a stateside transfer for the lucky pup, the two remained friends, joining forces in the pet food business. Davis passed away in the late ‘60s, but Cohen soldiered on with their enterprise through 1995, when the business was purchased by Barry Jacobson and his sons Adam and Ari, who run the business today.

Six out of the seven locations (Scarsdale, Rye, Riverside, Wilton, New Canaan, and Fairfield) have self-serve dog washrooms, and host “Clean your Paws for a Cause” fundraisers with local entities.
