The Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College is excited to welcome back a band that represents four decades of timeless rock - BIG HEAD TODD AND THE MONSTERS, set to perform on Wednesday, June 4, at 7:30 pm in Durango, Colorado.
Few friendships withstand the test of time, and even fewer bands remain together for the long haul. Yet for nearly 40 years, Big Head Todd and The Monsters—Todd Park Mohr (vocals, guitar, keys, saxophone, harmonica), Brian Nevin (drums), Rob Squires (bass, vocals), and Jeremy Lawton (keyboards, lap steel, vocals)—have continued to craft blues-infused rock ‘n’ roll that energizes audiences around the globe.
The Colorado-based quartet first gained national attention with their platinum-certified 1993 album Sister Sweetly, which featured a string of radio hits. They have since toured relentlessly, headlined the Red Rocks Amphitheatre 35 times, and earned a spot in the Colorado Music Hall of Fame in 2023. Along the way, they have collaborated with legends like B.B. King, Neil Young, The Allman Brothers, and Robert Plant while remaining true to their signature sound—soulful, unfiltered, and built for the stage.
