Homebrewed Comedy at The Nook Coffeehouse

The laughter is coming to New Berlin when Homebrewed Comedy hits the stage at The Nook Coffeehouse on Saturday, May 31. Ben Frank is headlining the show and Brandon Ciotti is joining host Mike Peters.

The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 and available online now or at the door, beginning at 6 p.m. Come out and enjoy the show.

About the comedians:

Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters is the founder of Homebrewed Comedy. He hosts at the Syracuse Funny Bone and Wise Crackers in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcasts, On the Mic with Mike Peters and It’s About Time: A Sopranos Watch Podcast.

Brandon Ciotti is a stand-up comedian from Utica. He’s a regular at the Uptown Theatre and is known for his unique blend of self-deprecating humor and storytelling. He’s performed at the Syracuse Funny Bone and opened for Jim Norton. If you happen to spot a white van with no windows on the road, chances are it’s Ciotti on his way to his next gig.

Ben Frank is a New York-based stand-up comedian, who began his comedy career in Shanghai, China, and regularly performs in English and Mandarin. A regular at the New York Comedy Club, he has played all around the world and headlined comedy clubs in more than 10 countries, including China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. Ben was the Winner of the World Series of Comedy in New Orleans in 2023 and was named Best of the Fest at both the Burbank Comedy Festival and Four Corners Comedy Festival in 2022. He released an hour-long comedy album, “Goodbye Shanghai,” in April 2022, and during his time in China, he became the first comedian to headline a stand-up show in Wuhan following the city’s harrowing, 76-day lockdown from COVID-19. This performance was the basis for his comedy special, “Ben Frank: Live In Wuhan,” which was released on YouTube in September 2020. Additionally, Ben has worked with countless major international stand-up acts on their tours through Asia, including Kyle Kinane, Kurt Metzger, Mark Normand, James Adomian, Joe Machi and Brad Williams.
