Am Samstag, 5. Juli 2025 ab 11:30 Uhr heißt es auf dem Mayener Marktplatz: Segel setzen, Ohren auf!
Der Shanty-Chor Kehriger Leichtmatrosen bringt bei den Summer Beats maritimes Flair in die Innenstadt.

Gegründet 2015 von Hermann Martini, entführt der rund 16-köpfige Chor unter der Leitung von „Kapitän“ Fred Martini sein Publikum mit traditionellen Shantys, Seemannsliedern und Karnevalsklängen auf eine musikalische Reise ans Meer. 🌊🎶
