Welcome to Comedy After Dark, a stand-up comedy show featuring Jacksonville's best comedians as well as featuring national touring comedians on tour. This week we have NYC's Lance Weiss performing!

Who will be performing:

Lance Weiss has been a national touring comedian for over 20 years. Originally from Brunswick, Georgia, but beginning his comedy journey in Washington, D.C. and then later moving to NYC, Lance has since been named a Top 4 Finalist in CMT’s Next Big Comic and featured on FOX’s Laughs, NBC’s The Today Show, Bravo’s The Love Broker, CNBC’s Common Cents, ESPN Radio, Sirius/XM and in commercials for AT&T, Bud Light, Kit Kat and IBM. He’s written for brands such as PlayStation, Motorola, Honeywell, USPS and the Central Park Conservancy. Lance has also been hired to perform for companies such as the NY Times, Meredith Corporation and AB InBev. Lance was co-creator of Gandhi, Is That You? which Time Out New York chose as one of their Critics’ Picks as well as calling it “Wildly popular” and one of “The best weekly comedy shows in NYC.” Running for over 8 years, it was part of the NY Comedy Festival presented by Comedy Central. Alex Sanders is a comedian based out of Jacksonville, FL who has opened for Theo Von, Matt Rife, and Shucky Ducky. He tells jokes and usually that goes well. He’s funny and you should definitely check him out.

Sean Steele is a seasoned show host with over 20 years of experience, is making waves in the Jacksonville, Fl comedy scene. Since stepping into stand-up comedy, Sean has been a driving force behind the growth of comedy in Mayport, organizing multiple venues including weekly shows at Bedlam and First Coast Comedy and monthly events to showcase local talent at 3rd Space improv in St Augustine as well as Lynch’s Irish Pub in Jacksonville Beach. Sean also appears on local TV in a monthly segment highlighting the local Jacksonville comedy scene on River City Live!

Sean works regularly out of town and is always looking to entertain new markets. His credits include performances at both Stardome in Hoover, Alabama and The Comedy Zone in Jacksonville. He has also featured on shows in Savannah, Waycross, Valdosta and St. Mary’s in Georgia as well as Charleston , South Carolina and Daytona Beach, Fl.

Sean’s passion extends beyond the stage. Recognizing the power of comedy to uplift and connect, he is dedicated to bringing laughter to senior living facilities across the region and his performed almost 50 Senior shows to date. His efforts aim to brighten the lives of residents while building a stronger, more united community.

Juan Corzo is an up-and-coming stand-up comedian in the Jacksonville comedy scene. Recently relocated, he’s quickly making waves with his natural stage presence, and a genuine passion for Improv that brings energy and unpredictability to every show.
