Fundraiser - Dinner, Paddle Stretching, and a Sunset Cruise - Shark River

This fundraising dinner, gentle paddle stretch and sunset paddle-out on the Shark River, Neptune, NJ is a one-of-a-kind wellness experience. We begin meeting at the Shark River Café and Bistro to use your $20 dinner voucher to pick up a custom sandwich, salad, or slice of ‘za before moving to a nearby shoreline to launch into the Shark River. .

We depart the beach around 6:30 pm, paddle around the Musquash Cove, past the Neptune Marina, and across to Memorial Park for an hour of paddle stretching with one of two sponsored yoga studios while watching the sunset from the beach. After 60-minute layover, we proceed along the Neptune City side of the river back to the put-in around 9:30 pm.

PFH provides:

• Kayaks, Paddles, and PFD, safety lights

• Touring, Recreational, and Double kayaks are available

• $20 pre-paid dinner voucher for the Shark River Café & Bistro

• ACA L2 Trip lead and guide

• Spotter / Safety coordinator

• Trip, guides, and liability insurance

• Donation Breakdown

As with all of the PFH events, your tax-deductible donation helps us supply cups, plates, napkins, and coffee supplies to N.A., A.A., meetings and weekly lunch services in southern coastal Monmouth County. Our partnership with Johnson's Restaurant Equipment (JRE) has helpes provide 7,000 cups, 10,000 plates, and 18,000 napinks quiarterly in the Asbury Park Community.

This event is an American Canoe Association (ACA) sanctioned event for paddlers 18 years or older.
