You are invited to help re-wild our neighbourhood 🦋
Generously led by the Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library (OWSL), we are hosting a Winter Seed Sowing Workshop! This is a fun, hands-on event where you can sow native seeds in simple containers like yogurt cups or planting pots.
Huge thanks to OWSL for sharing their time, seeds, and expertise to help bring more native plants to our neighbourhood. 🌸 Native plants support butterflies, bees, and other pollinators, helping restore nature.
🌼 You’ll have two options:
• Sow seeds to plant in your own garden
• Or sow seeds to help rewild the community centre gardens
In the spring, we’ll gather to plant everything and watch the gardens come to life!
🌿 What You’ll Need:
• Small containers (yogurt cups with holes in the bottom, or regular planting pots)
• Soil (ProMix works well)
• Hand tools (spade, gloves, etc.)
Let’s restore nature to our neighbourhood — together. 💚
