Join us for the 75th Grand Parade at the Parade of the Hills, kicking off at 6 PM! 🎡👑🥳
Come and watch the Nelsonville-York Marching Buckeyes parade down the historic brick streets. The parade will feature local businesses, marching bands, classic cars, our current Little and Big Miss Courts, Queen contestants, fire departments, and much more.
In honor of our 75th year, we are excited to announce a parade contest with the theme "No Place Like Home." This theme celebrates everything that makes Nelsonville special, or whatever gives you a sense of home! Get creative and showcase what you take pride in—whether it’s our school, the square, a local business, our history, star bricks, the Hocking River, or even a Wizard of Oz-inspired twist with a Nelsonville flair. The possibilities are endless!
All entries in the Grand Parade will automatically be considered for the contest. Winners will be announced after the parade and will receive a cash prize along with a commemorative plaque. If you are unable to claim your prize in person, we will make every effort to reach you. However, if the prize is not claimed within 30 days, the funds will be forfeited.
