Wreath making workshop - Whakatū Nelson

Learn to make twine using tī kōuka and then transform it into a beautiful wreath with craftsperson Gemma Stratton.

Celebrate the seasons with a wreath-making workshop using natural materials. Begin by crafting strong tī kōuka twine using a European string-making technique useful for forming the foundation of your wreath and many other things. Then, learn how to twist the twine into a wreath shape, finishing by creating a bow if you desire.
