Update from the Commerce Commission

The Commerce Commissions' vision is simple but powerful: New Zealanders are better off when markets work well, and both consumers and businesses can participate with confidence.

In this session, you'll hear directly from the Commission about how it balances education with enforcement, and what that means for businesses her in Aotearoa. With around 15,000 complaints reviewed each year, the Commission plays a critical role in shaping fair and competitive markets across all sectors, from everyday household costs to the infrastructure that powers our economy.

You'll also gain industry-specific insights into payment surcharging, groceries, and electricity, along with the chance to ask questions and better understand how the law applies in practice.
