This workshop will inspire the development of specific dance lifts that flow through and use cradle position. We will refine techniques, tempos and aesthetics of each lift.
Alongside understanding the framework of the individual lifts we will explore a way to combine the lifts togethers and work some entries and exits to develop a dance flow and help with integration of the learned skills.

About the teachers:
Miles is a curious explorer of many artistic avenues of expression. He enjoys gaining perspective from a variety of modalities and blending them together for his work as a performing artist and to have the ability to freely explore and delight in spontaneous creation.
He has taught partner acrobatics for many years and for the last five years has focused more on dance and circus arts. Whatever the medium, Miles will intrigue you to delve deeper into the subtle sensations and experiences that are available to us all.

Aimee has a background in gymnastics and has developed herself as a multi-disciplinary performing artist. Her primary artistic mediums include hoop dance, partner acrobatics, gogo and freestyle fusion dance. She loves to teach individuals of all ages so that they may find the delight of movement in their own bodies.
Through her many years of experience Aimee takes pride in providing accessible foundations to whatever medium she is teaching. Through these foundations she encourages and supports her students to not only develop these skills but to allow their own authentic expressions to shine.

Together, this dynamic duo blends a number of different modalities and suits it to fit their performance needs and personal desires. They bring some of their wildest ideas to life through their collective creative process and mixing of styles to create a truly unique experience for those watching one of their performances or attending a workshop.
