March Meeting - Hard Case Heroes

Building on the success of his Kahurangi backcountry trilogy, Gerard Hindmarsh’s HARD-CASE HEROES, stories from the Abel Tasman, focuses on some of the quirky and largely untold characters associated with the Abel Tasman coast and its uplands: early settlers and park rangers; an island hermit and defiant squatters; graziers and a limestone miner.

Come along to our March meeting and hear more from Gerard Hindmarsh about these largely untold and gritty stories from this beautiful part of New Zealand.
