Summer is in full swing! So is our live music series. Come enjoy our new salad menu, some tasty sips, and the sweet sounds from some of our favourite local artists. This month's line-up includes:
JULY 2 - Mike Meaney
Mike Meaney is a local Nelson musician originally from Toronto who plays a mixture of mellow fingerstyle and upbeat acoustic. Equally at home around a campfire or on stage, and sure to get you singing along, he plays mostly covers with a healthy dose of originals when courage moves him to do so.
JULY 9 - Peter Reed
Peter Reed is a Rossland based singer-songwriter who has always been captivated by the power and poetry of one person and a guitar. Drawing inspiration from songwriting heroes Guy Clark, Chris Whitley and Gillian Welch to name but a few, Peter crafts his songs by distilling stories of everyday life, love and laughter delivering them through a roots/folk lens. With the dissolution of his former music project Dirt Floor, Peter has had more space and time to revisit some older material as well as making space for new compositions.
JULY 16 - Jodie & Stuart
"Stu and Jodie are buds. They are from Ontario, but met in Nelson. A classic tale. They like to sing songs together.”’
