Rainbow Hippos

The Rainbow Hippos are a family band from the Little Slocan Valley. Living off-grid in the forest in Heartland, Joyee, Martine, Uma and Julia started to play music together when the girls began to play the violin about 8 years ago. They started recording songs in their cabin and performing at community events as the Rainbow Hippos about 4 years ago. They are dedicated to the art of live acoustic music, without electronic manipulation, whenever possible.
