West Kootenay Cycling Coalition, The City of Nelson, and Gerick Cycle & Ski are teaming up to celebrate GoByBike Week the first week of June! Join us for fun community events including a panel discussion with local transportation leaders. This year’s focus is on bike safety, commuting, and shifting to more active modes of transportation. Let’s get out of our cars and onto our bikes

Hosted by City of Nelson, a FREE informative presentation with three panel speakers is happening at the Nelson Innovation Centre at 3:30 pm:

Solita Work – Tips for Commuting/Traveling by Bike
Mark Weigeldt – Gear Safety
Dr. Dharma McBride – Biking and Public Health

Door prizes! And attending the panel discussion is a challenge on your bingo card giving you more chances to win prizes just for riding your bike.
