Freedom for Palestine Float

As the Global Sumud Floatilla prepares to set sail to break the siege on Gaza and deliver desperately needed humanitarian aid, @nelson4palestine will launch into Kootenay Lake in solidarity with the 2 million Palestinians who are resisting relentless violence and starvation under i*rael’s genocidal regime.

Join us this Sunday, August 10th to make our support for humanity and dissent for genocide loud and clear.
We’ll have an info table set up at 1 where the beach, walkway and boat launch meet. At 2 we’ll meet at the boat launch with our watercraft of choice, signs, flags, banners etc and plan to stay on the water until 4. Folks who want to participate, but don't have a watercraft are welcome to support from the beach. Gaza & Free Palestine sand sculptures anyone?

Float will be postponed in the event of thunderstorms.
