Community Planting on the Waimea Inlet

Sunday 20th July 9am – 1pm Best Island
Access and parking adjacent to Greenacres Golf Club.

Join Battle for the Banded Rail for a relaxed and rewarding community planting morning!

Help restore native habitats, support local wildlife, and enjoy some good company.

Bring: gloves, a spade (if you have one), drinking water
Wear: warm clothes and sturdy shoes or gumboots

We’ll have a friendly smile waiting and would love to see you there!
If the weather's not good, we'll cancel by 8am on the day. However, if it's just doubtful or light rain we will go ahead.
