The Community Acupuncture Clinic is run by Kelly Wells from Balance Health & Wellbeing. The Clinic is designed to make treatment affordable & accessible for all. Cost: Sliding Scale - $5 - $40
The Low Down on Community Clinic...
1. There are no bookings - Turn up any time between 4pm & 5.30pm for the Monday sessions and 9am & 11.30am for the Friday sessions and Kelly will treat you on a first come first served basis. Please be patient and prepared to wait - some days she is very busy!
2. Wear comfy, loose clothes - Wearing clothes that we can roll the sleeves and pant legs up on makes life a lot easier. You want to aim for your pants and tops to be able to be rolled up to your knees or elbows without cutting off circulation - you'll need to stay like that for at least 15 minutes
3. Bring exact change - Please bring exact change for your koha. There is no eftpos in Community Clinic and when Kelly is busy there is no time to sort change.
4. Minors need a guardian present - Kids (and animals) are welcome, but please bring a guardian to sign the consent form and be present for the treatment.
5. What can acupuncture help? - Acupuncture can be used to help ease a number of conditions including (but not limited to) aches, pains, injuries, digestive disorder, period problems, mental health (anxiety, depression), headaches & migraines, pregnancy symptoms (morning sickness, reflux, aches and pains), long covid, chronic fatigue.
