Fire Festival 2025 is lighting up the night sky on Saturday, 7th of June at the magical Klitsgras Drumming venue in Pretoria. This unforgettable evening invites you to gather around the fire for a celebration of movement, rhythm, and community spirit. Whether you're coming to dance, drum, perform, shop, or simply soak in the vibes—this is where you want to be.
Gates open at 16:00, with a family-friendly atmosphere, a vibey market, delicious food stalls, wood-fired pizza, and a fully stocked cash bar. The novice drumming session kicks off at 17:00, followed by the full drumming circle at 18:00, so bring your energy and let the beat guide you.
At 19:00, the flames rise higher as the Fire Dancing Competition begins. If you’re a flame artist ready to showcase your skills, don’t miss your chance to compete for amazing prizes:
First prize: R3000 cash plus a romantic 1-night breakaway for two (meals included)
Second prize: A handcrafted Djembe drum worth R1850
Third prize: A Klitsgras experience for 4 adults, including entrance, pizza, and drinks
Entry to the competition is R100, which includes free paraffin for your performance. Fire dancers not entering competition will still receive free entrance to the event. Spots are limited, so early registration is advised.
After the fire show, the celebration continues with live sets by The Digital Shaman and DJ Awkward Spider, keeping the energy alive until late.
Tickets are R100 Early Bird via Quicket, or R120 at the gate. Children are welcome, and there’s something for everyone at this unique and spirited event.
