Kelham Community Yoga

Join us for a 75- minute intro and movement session, in our intimate but airy and light events space. We welcome beginners, and seasoned practitioners to join us for a lovely start to your weekend!

Rebecca Lee Close has lived and breathed yoga for most of her life — practising since the early 2000s and teaching since 2016. Over the years she’s drawn on a rich palette of methods - from Yin, to Sports Yoga, and from Female health, Anusara-inspired flow, to Anatomically informed “Heart & Bones” style work - to shape a teaching voice that’s deeply responsive, inclusive, and playful.

Her approach resists strict categorisation: each class is shaped by who shows up, what their bodies need, and where their energy wants to go. What is constant? A love for breath-led movement, intelligent mobility, embodied strength, and a bit of fun and surprise thrown in.

When you join Rebecca at Merchants House, expect flow threaded with intention, sound and rhythm to lift your morning, and space to arrive in your body and mind. You’ll leave feeling lighter, stronger, and more fully yourself. Please arrive early, ready for a prompt 9:45am start.

We'd love for you to join us and relax afterwards, reflect on a fulfilling morning individually, or spend time with the group. We'll be serving delicious speciality coffee, to be enjoyed alongside baked goods and European inspired morning delicacies, and will be hosting our weekly mini makers market.

The venue is fully wheelchair accessible and everything is situated on ground level. There's an accessible toilet in the venue, with additional communal toilets in the courtyard.

Please bring your own mats, but limited mats and equipment are available to borrow.
