September brings a softening of the days towards the mellowness of autumn, as the sun’s energy diminishes and the days grow cooler. This shift can truly be felt at the autumn equinox as the season of late summer draws to its close. This is a time to re-centre and create stability, balance and comfort, in preparation for the slower yin seasons of autumn and winter.
Yoga at the equinox focuses on foundation: feeling centred, connecting with the earth and rooting down. It invites an attuning to the gentle pull of the earth towards quiet contemplation and restful stillness as we allow our old leaves to fall and our energy to draw within.
Join me for a practice full of the rituals of autumn that will draw on the principles of Ayurveda and traditional Chinese medicine alongside the beautiful yogic concept of Aparigraha, letting go.
Expect homemade seasonal treats full of the goodness of the late summer harvest and warming herbal teas.

Sessions close with yin and restorative yoga followed by a deeply relaxing yoga nidra.
Please bring your own mat, block, strap and blanket.
