Born in Pensacola and raised in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Benghazi Gresham has been laying down unforgettable grooves since picking up the bass at age 14. By 15, he was already driving the rhythm section in his high school jazz band, setting the foundation for what has become a 34-year journey of deep musical expression. Earning a full music scholarship to college, he honed his craft and developed a distinctive voice on the electric stand-up bass. Today, he plays purely for the love of it, creating smooth, immersive vibes with a sound that is entirely his own. His playing isn’t just heard – it’s felt.
