The Backwoods Trail Tour
Motorcycle-Only Singletrack Trail
If you're into singletrack, you don't want to miss this ride! The Backwoods Trail Tour will include some of Michigan's finest Motorcycle-Only Trail in the beautiful Upper Peninsula!
EVENT INFO:
Expect 50+ miles with cutoff options along the Newberry-Rexton Trail and Brevort-Trout Lake Trail. There are some road sections that connect the staging area and trails, so headlights and taillights are required.
The trails will be marked beginning on Friday, so come early! After a full day of riding on Saturday, you can show off your balancing skills in the Slow Race. Bring your canoe or kayak!

CAMPING / STAGING AREA:
The event will be held at the Strouble Lake Campground located southeast of Rexton, MI. Rustic camping is $10 per night. Camping fees will be collected at sign-up. Please do not use the pay tubes in the campground.
There are a few picnic tables, fire pits, and a vault toilet. There is no water, electricity, or dump station on site. The nearest gas station/convenience store is in Brevort or Trout Lake.
DIRECTIONS:
From US 2, head north on Hiawatha Trail approximately 6.6 miles to Strouble Lake Rd (N46 08.645 W85 10.524). Turn left, west, on Strouble Lake Rd. At the first intersection, stay right on Strouble Lake Rd., Just before the pavement ends, turn right on the gravel road into the campground (N46 08.501 W85 11.862).

SIGN-UP / SOUND CHECK:
Sign-up and sound check will take place at the staging area.
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Sunday: 8:00 - 10:00 AM
RIDE FEES:
Saturday & Sunday: $30 individual / $50 family
Sunday Only: $20 individual / $30 family
RIDER EDUCATION:
Riders under age 16 are required to have a safety training certificate.

REQUIREMENTS:
All attendees, spectators, and participants must sign the CCC waiver at the staging area. Riders must be current CCC members. Memberships are available at sign-up but please renew early by mail. ORV stickers are required and are available at the staging area. Vehicles must be equipped with a USFS-approved spark arrestor and pass a 94 db sound check.
