Walk for Hunger 2025

This annual event is even more important this year, with the rising cost of food we are seeing more families facing food insecurity.

This 5K Walk for Hunger begins at the Heights Plaza in Natrona Heights and winds through the streets of Natrona Heights and Brackenridge. The walk concludes back at the plaza where refreshments will be served to all the walkers.

Walkers are encouraged to solicit sponsors for their walking efforts.
Walkers collecting $15.00 or more will receive a T-shirt at the start of the walk. Those without sponsors can register for a fee of $15.00. Collection envelopes are available at participating area churches or the AVAC office at 1913 Freeport Rd., Natrona Heights. Call 724-226-0606 x110 for more information.

All funds raised will support the hunger programs of the Allegheny Valley Association of Churches. So get your walking shoes on and bring your friends and pets and help us walk for hunger!!
